Ender 3 Pro + Creality Sprite Extruder + CRTouch

The extruder and hot end on my Ender 3 Pro have been upgraded! The Creality Sprite Direct Drive extruder has been installed and here are some tips and tricks to help get it working.

Watch a few YouTube videos of the assembly. I loosened the lower carriage pulley to mount the x axis carriage. Plug in the connectors for the motherboard, but make sure to use the original CRTouch long cable.

Use the firmware found at https://www.reddit.com/r/Ender3Pro/comments/ukf5lg/ender_3_pro_422_with_cr_touch_and_sprite/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

This firmware already configures the e steps to 424.9 as suggested in the Creality manual. Make sure to adjust your slicer settings to work with direct drive. Retraction should be set to around .8mm and retraction speed should be set to about 35mm/s.
